mSystems is an automotive software company that is based in Denmark operating in Northern Europe. Founded in 2018 by Anja Kjeldahl, who currently serves as the Head of Sales and Operations, its aim is to help retailers simplify the management of loan and rental cars for customers using the RentLog solution. In January 2020, mSystems joined the Keyloop Partner Programme as an Approved Partner after identifying the opportunity to integrate its solution with Dracar+ and Autoline DMS.
mSystems’ drive to simplify the car rental process
Prior to developing RentLog, Anja had worked in several automotive retail businesses and noticed the car rental process was manual and time consuming for the workshop teams and customers. There were also issues around the invoicing for rental vehicles, and Anja realised retailers were missing out on potential revenue due to this.
Working with Keyloop
Anja and the team at mSystems developed the RentLog solution and soon identified the Keyloop Partner Programme as a good opportunity to further enhance its offering. The seamless transfer of data between the Keyloop DMS and RentLog would ensure the entire vehicle rental process is documented and customers could be invoiced accurately.
Thanks to a strong working relationship with the Keyloop Partner team, the approval process was a positive experience for mSystems.
Driving revenue
With no need to double key information thanks to the integration between RentLog and Keyloop DMS, retailers are benefiting from a more efficient and streamlined vehicle rental process. The simplicity of the RentLog solution and Keyloop’s APIs means new customers can be onboarded in a day.
One of the biggest benefits for retailers using the solution is additional revenue. Whenever a customer requests a rental vehicle, the starting mileage, fuel level, and current damages are all logged on the system and populated against the customer record from Keyloop DMS, and contracts are automatically generated and available in an electronic and print-ready versions.
Thanks to a clear overview of the entire vehicle rental process and accurate customer data, retailers using the integration aren’t missing out on lost revenue that can be caused by previous manual processes.
Being part of the Keyloop Partner Programme has also provided mSystems with the opportunity to work with other partners. An example of this being Tjekvik, which is also integrated with Keyloop DMS. RentLog integrates into Tjekvik’s self-service solution, enabling customers to pick up and return the rental car key without the need to interact with a member of the dealership team.
mSystems’ currently operates in the Nordics and is certified with Dracr+ and Autoline DMS’ with the majority of customers using the RentLog and Keyloop Dracar+ integration being based in Denmark. Joining the Keyloop Partner Programme has meant mSystems now has the opportunity to enter new markets, with a pilot site in Germany already on going.
