Reading, 30 January 2025. Keyloop, a global leader in automotive technology, today announces the launch of a new employee resource group (ERG), KeyShift, designed to empower women and their allies within Keyloop to help drive meaningful change across the automotive and technology sectors.
KeyShift will foster a supportive and inclusive environment for women by enhancing their professional development, promoting advocacy and awareness, and building a network that drives collaboration and innovation.
The initiative is being led by Jacqui Barker, Keyloop’s Director of OEM Strategy, and winner of the 2024 Barbara Cox Women of the Year award, who saw an opportunity to develop a more formal community for women to come together at Keyloop.
Commenting on the announcement, Barker said: “I think we need to be more international about how we support careers, develop talent, and create opportunity for not only women in the automotive industry, but across all industries.”
To celebrate this launch, Keyloop hosted a panel event featuring a distinguished lineup of female leaders who have successfully championed diversity, equity, and inclusion in the automotive and technology industries.
“The launch event gave us the chance to learn from other ERGs and global women’s networks, to share ideas and inspire action,” Barker explained.
The panel featured:
- Sarah Noble, Partner in Automotive at Deloitte, and leader of Women at the Wheel, a global initiative uniting women across the automotive industry.
- Sally Foote, Chief Operating Officer at CarWow, who spearheaded WOW Women and led the Confidence Gap research, focusing on gender dynamics in the workplace.
- Rachael Prasher, Managing Director at Haymarket, and founder of Great Women, a movement supporting women’s advancement in business and media.
- Vicky Gardner, NextGear Sales and Customer Services Director, part of Cox Automotive, Chair of Women with Drive and advocate for the prestigious Barbara Cox Award.
